The printed page
I love the daily newspaper, but is it played out?
I mean the big story today is the attack in London, and there is nothing in the morning paper about it, because they had already printed. MSN, CNN, Yahoo, and the web sites of the daily papers have this story , but the good old printed copy will have to wait.
I hope the paper hangs around, since I still like to read it on Sunday especially, and I don't want to see Flanders carrying his laptop into the men's room anytime soon.

Great point. I dropped my weekday service for that reason. I still like to have a cup of coffee and read on the weekend. I noticed that weekend service in SA is now Fri-Mon. I guess I am not the only one...
Some people already do carry their laptops into the bathrooms. I work at a newspaper and never read the printed version, it's unconfortably large, it stains your hands and it takes up so much space in the trash. I always watch the news and read them online though.
That's cool, it's just that Flanders is not known for his cleanliness.
I refuse to spend money on a newspaper when i can get the updated news online for free :)
